The Harry Porter series has build up a trend for the modern filmmaking industry. First, this is the first film whose use the novel as their excat script, they just film the movie as the visual version of the novel. This was a new idea that has never been done before the Harry Porter series. Moreover, this is the first film who use teenager as their main characters and have a major success in the box office. I think the movie "Harry Porter" series has create lot of new trend for the modern filmmaking industry. Therefore, We should see this movie as one of an important movie in the history of filmmaking.

Answer.

In my previous posting I described two films. One was my own and the other was Goodfellas by Martin Scorsese. The first one is important to me, but if I want to convince the audience to watch a film, I choose the Goodfellas because it is widely recognized by general public and expert communities. It impressed me by natural depiction of casual life of criminals, their everyday routines. It also influenced me by spirit of family that I later listed as one of the most important values for my nature.

The rest I draw from “Goodfellas” Wikipedia article. “The film is #92 on the American Film Institute's list of 100 Years, 100 Movies and is consistently in the top 20 on the Internet Movie Database's list of top 250 films. In 2000 the United States Library of Congress deemed the film ‘culturally significant’ and selected it for preservation in the National Film Registry. In 2005 Total Film, named Goodfellas as the greatest film of all time.” It is hard to retell all possible awards the film has made.

“The film is based on New York crime reporter Nicholas Pileggi's book Wiseguy. Martin Scorsese read a review of the book and this inspired him to read it. According to Pileggi, Scorsese cold-called the writer and told him ‘I've been waiting for this book my entire life.’ To which Pileggi replied ‘I've been waiting for this phone call my entire life.’ Scorsese and Pileggi collaborated on the screenplay.”

Goodfellas also had cultural, public and professional influence. Particularly, it “may be a major inspiration for the popular HBO series ‘The Sopranos’, which also chronicles the life of a ‘working class’ gangster.”

I certainly recommend watching Goodfellas for pleasure and nominal familiarization with classic. However I admit that positive opinion that I support, may be considered just a matter of personal taste, and many others may see nothing valuable in the film.

One of the main reasons why I consider "My sassy girl" movie to be great is because it based on the true love story in Korea. When the man wrote his story online, he may never thought that it would become one of the most famous movie in Korea. Therefore, you should watch this movie to understand why people said this remarkable movie has created Korean movie industry.

“Click” was the first ever film that starring Adam Sandler to receive nomination. Probably Adam Sandler usually performs in comedies. Most of them did not contain life lessons; therefore, audience may just have lots of laughter while watching the films he played. However, when I watched “CLICK”, I noticed that this movie did not only contain humor and jokes but also an important lesson. The lesson it taught me was that there are lots of thing are more valuable than money. When Adam thought that as long as he could get promotion he could give what his family need, but the result proved he was wrong. He lost his family, health, and happiness. This theme it tried to express to its audience was what I loved about this film.

In short, the movie “Cast Away” brings out a courageous life of an ordinary who tries to survive to see his family. Although life in a remote island is really tough and there are no helps from other people and technology, the protagonist struggles so hard to survive which people should respect his spirit. The movie also depicts a relationship between the protagonist and volleyball------Wilson. Because there is no one to talk to, he makes friend with a volleyball. However, living courageously does not guarantee a good ending. At long last, when the protagonist returns to his own country, the person who wants to see is always married. Thus, indeed this is a tragic story.
